I rather liked how it's brought to light more fully that Fox is an American yet enlisted under the British forces, although I rather regret now that thought bubble that out-right tells the audience her real alliance. I was afraid the look on her face wouldn't be enough of a tell at the time. lessons learned...

Commodore Jones? That wouldn't be John Paul Jones (or whatever his name was, the famous American captain from the Revolution), would he?
And I loved the song lyrics. Very nicely handled.

why yes, it would be, hehehe, bear in mind his character here is somewhat suspended in a slight fantasy, as Devia is a fictional island in the carribean, John Paul Jones, here, is taken slightly out of context. It's explained in more detail later, i assure you but seeing as Devia is fictional, so are the continueing, or in this case, alternative, lives of any historical figure who happens to grace our waters.
